The Primary Election has come and gone and at the last minute we decided to make a concerted effort to secure the Republican nomination, as well as the Democratic nomination.  I am happy to report, at least unofficially, we had success.

Here are the official Primary reports from Allegheny County and official results from Westmoreland County.  These reports do not specifically say how many write-ins were for what candidate, but we have leanred that our effort provided us with over 300 Republican write-ins, enough to secure the nomination on both parties for the General Election in November.   Once write-in results become certified and official from both Counties, we will post them here.

It is appropriate to take the time here to thank those volunteers who gave their valuable volunteer time to my campaign in April to help us secure the write-in.  Without those effort, this success would have failed.   One thing I have learned — a political campaign is only as successful as the volunteer efforts behind it!  So — Thank you!
